Our Professional Staff:
Michael Reiling
Michael Reiling, PT, MPT, ATC, CSCS, is owner of Marion Physical Therapy. Mike received a master’s degree in physical therapy from Regis University, Denver, Colorado, in 2000. Before that he received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in athletic training and is a nationally certified athletic trainer. Mike is also a strength and conditioning specialist. He worked as a truck driver for two years which gives him a unique background with some of the industrial athletes he sees who have sustained a work injury.
Jean Hammill
Jean Hammill, PT, DPT, MA, OCS, ATC, received a BS degree in 1969 in education and taught and coached track, basketball and softball for 7 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in 1979, a master’s degree in PT in 1993 from the U of I, and her clinical doctorate from St. Ambrose University in 2005. She has been board certified by the American Physical Therapy Association since 1996. She is a nationally certified athletic trainer. Jean has been active with the Iowa Physical Therapy Association serving on the board of directors, as vice president and as president. She has 32 years of experience. She founded Marion Physical Therapy in 1996.
Janeen Fink
Janeen Fink, PT, MS, has a master of science degree in physical therapy from the University of South Dakota. She also has a BS in wellness management. Janeen is a 5th degree black belt in tae kwon do and has been a martial arts instructor for over twenty years. She has gone through major rehabilitation for multiple ligament injuries to her knee, and these life experiences give her a unique perspective on rehabilitating clients. Janeen has 11 years of experience in physical therapy.
Janet Burbridge
Janet Burbridge PT, MS, has a master's degree in physical therapy. Janet has practiced for 18 years in a wide array of settings including acute care, long-term care, and outpatient orthopedics.
Dave Rubsam
Dave Rubsam, PT, OCS, has been a physical therapist for over 22 years, having graduated from the University of Iowa in 1989 with his masters in physical therapy. He has been board certified as an orthopedic specialist since 2001, and has worked in outpatient settings most of his career. Other work experience has included small hospital coverage, long-term care facility care, home health care, and acute care in a large hospitals. Dave is also certified in ASTYM treatment, and is a national instructor for this exciting treatment approach. Other interests include martial arts (karate), running, strength training, golf, church activities, and anything to do with his family (wife and four children).

Sarah Jones
Sarah Jones is the office manager at Marion Physical Therapy. She is also a licensed massage therapist with 10 years of experience. She is skilled in many types of massage for treatment and relaxation.
Jennifer Kellogg
Jennifer Kellogg, B.S. PTA, is a physical therapy assistant at the Ability Clinic in Center Point. She has her BS from Upper Iowa and her PTA degree from Kirkwood Community College. Before becoming a PTA, she served as office manager at the Ability Clinic in Mt. Vernon for 4 years. Jennifer is also a licensed massage therapist with 11 years of experience.
Jon Thuerauf
Jon Thuerauf, B.A., ATC, LAT, is a licensed and nationally certified athletic trainer. He is a recent graduate of Coe College where he worked with athletes in football, wrestling, and basketball. He currently helps local high school athletes and clients in industrial rehabilitation.
Amy Wood
Amy Wood is the office manager at Ability Physical Therapy in Center Point. She has been an EMT B for 4 years and has experience in the public school system with pediatric clients.
Jennifer Stoner
Jennifer Stoner is the office manager at Ability Physical Therapy in Mt. Vernon. She has 2 years of experience, lives in Mt. Vernon, and enjoys spending time with her family.
